Watching new talent blossom into national brands is a reminder of the transformative power Urban Music. The mission of The New Face Of Hip Hop and The New Face Of R&B contest is to infuse a breath of fresh air onto the urban music landscape and to provide aspiring artists with the opportunity to have their brand promoted on a national scale. The contest is open to solo artists, duos and groups.

4. IndieMusicGrind.com has the right to allow access to third parties to listen to your music via downloadable technologies.

5. The material that you are submitting to IndieMusicGrind.comcontains no viruses.

6. IndieMusicGrind.com will not be held liable for any claims, demands, losses, expenses, costs, or liabilities which you or your heirs may have in conjunction with your participation in this submission process.

7. You further warrant that you are the artist or authorized agent of the artist.

8. IndieMusicGrind.com does not guarantee that you will be selected to advance to the championship rounds. Our judge committee will review your music for championship round consideration.

IndieMusicGrind.com reserves the right to reject any entry, in our sole and absolute discretion, that we determine does not meet the above criteria.

In order to preserve the integrity of this contest, family members and friends of IndieMusicGrind.com and its subsidiaries are not eligible to participate.

CONTEST RULES PHASE 2 – TOP 20 FINALISTS SELECTION PHASE BY INDUSTRY JUDGES

The call for entries will close as of April 15th, 2014. A “Selection” judge committee appointed by the executive board of IndieMusicGrind.com will review the submissions. Once the committee has reviewed the submissions, they will choose the TOP 20 FINALISTS for Hip Hop and the TOP 20 FINALISTS for R&B. The TOP 20 FINALISTS will be released on April 25th, 2014. The finalists will be contacted and notified that they have been selected in the Top 20. The Top 20 artists for each genre will be placed on the IndieMusicGrind.com website and will be voted on by the general public.

PLEASE NOTE: The Top 20 Finalists will also have 1 song featured on The New Face of Hip Hop/New Face of R&B Music Sampler which will be distributed to industry executives, tastemakers and DJ’s. Also the sampler will be available on Datpiff.com, IndieMusicGrind.com and other premier sites. There will be a music sampler for Hip Hop and a music sampler for R&B.

CONTEST Contest are determined via Online voting by the general public. (The Voting Process Begins April 30th,2014 and Ends May 15th, 2015)

The Top 20 Finalist’s song and profile will be placed on the IndieMusicGrind.com website and will be voted on by the general public. On April 30th, 2014 the public will be able to vote for the grand prize winner via online voting on www.IndieMusicGrind.com . The voting process ends on May 15th 2014. The Artist/group that receives the most online votes will win THE NEW FACE OF HIP HOP/NEW FACE OF R&B CONTEST Grand Prize. THE WINNER OF THE NEW FACE OF HIP HOP/NEW FACE OF R&B CONTEST CONTEST WILL BE ANNOUNCED ON MAY 20TH, 2014.

Voting is limited to one vote per verified email address/IP address per day. If an entrant receives multiple and/or irregular votes or multiple votes from the same user or users, including but not limited to, votes generated by a robotic, programmed, script, macro, other automated means or other source, then IndieMusicGrind.com reserves the right to disqualify the finalist in its sole discretion.
